About Jack’s

Jack’s Oil began in 1976 with one man and one truck. We’ve since established Jack’s Companies, which consists of Jack’s Oil, Jack’s Towing, and five Jack’s C-store locations. We are family-owned and operated. We owe our success to our focus on customer satisfaction; we do everything possible to make your experience with our companies pleasant. Count on us to always be FAIR, COMPETITIVE and TRUSTWORTHY.

Our Story 

It all began back in 1976 with Jack Gruenes and one truck, a 1972 Ford F-700 delivery truck purchased for $400. That was the start of Jack’s Oil. Over the years, Jack never lost sight of what was important, to see to the satisfaction of his customers. Doing just that is what set him apart and ensured the success of his company. 

In 2002, Jack’s daughter, Karen, and her husband, John, bought Jack’s Oil. Since then, Jack’s Companies was established. Jack’s Oil has grown from one truck to a fleet of 16 units, including propane delivery, bulk delivery, flatbed, and transport. We have also added Jack’s Towing and five Jack’s C-Stores. Today, the day-to-day operations of Jack’s Companies continue to be run by John and his sons, Nathen and Aaron. Nathen and Aaron plan to continue to grow and operate the business with their families.
